Claim the world, tile by tile.
You start with one tile and a small army. Spread across the map, take the neutral ground, and hold your borders against up to 15 other commanders. Grow your population, play the seasons, and spend your troops carefully. Every attack is paid for in people.

Rushing in just feeds your rivals. The players who win read the map, pick their moment, and make their people last.
Send troops at the border and take ground tile by tile. Choose how hard to commit, hit the soft spots, and break the line before the enemy digs in.
Autumn fills the coffers; winter starves your growth and your income. Build cities, ports and factories to keep the war funded and time your moves with the calendar.
Ferry armies across the sea to open a second front, hunt enemy trade with your warships. And if it really comes to it, end the argument with a nuke.
Everyone starts at 500. The rating works like CS2's: beat stronger players and you climb fast; lose and it actually hurts. Find your place and start climbing.
On your own against bots you can reach Captain (1050). After that the only way up is multiplayer, where the top ranks are won against real people.

A longer, heavier mode for people who want real grand strategy, closer to Hearts of Iron than a quick skirmish. Multiplayer only.
A solo campaign with hand-built maps, doctrines and objectives, opening in the French Alps and the plains of the Po.
Rush, hold the line, or wait for the opening. However you play it, there's a seat at the table.
